5 things you are doing wrong on your android phone – When you buy a new smartphone all that you care is,ensure that your precious mobile does not suffer even a little damage and keep away from situations that may be a risk for them. However, and despite all that care, you may be putting it at risk without knowing it.
We all know that it is advisable to keep your phone away from water or dust, avoid getting it out the window of a running car or try to hold it firmly when you use it with one hand to avoid falls, but at least there are 5 things you do wrong on your android phone and you do not know it .
1. Use unofficial or unauthorized repair services
Your smartphone has tried to test the laws of gravity by undertaking a fateful flight and at the end results into crashing with the screen broken , you will have no choice but to take your smartphone to the service center for a replacement.
Carrying your smartphone to a service center not authorized or you can say not authorized by the manufacturer, is not the best idea since doing so not only causes the immediate loss of warranty of the mobile , but compromises its reliability and, in the case of the batteries, even your safety.
In an unofficial service center, the manufacturer can not verify the quality of the repair or the authenticity of the used parts , reason is that the screen could not offer the same quality of image or resolution that the original can and even it seriously affect the consumption of battery of the smartphone. The same thing happens with batteries and any other components, which could show a performance below expectations because it is not manufactured under the same quality parameters as the original components . Trying to save a few bucks can be very expensive.
2. Beware of the heat
Temperature is one of the biggest dangers for phones as it seriously damages the battery life as well as the processor, photography sensors and other essential components during the usage of your smartphone.
While you are using your smartphone you will not like if your cell phone is overheating, but also we do not realize when the heat is affecting the phone .
To avoid punishing your smartphone with a higher than normal temperature , it is a good idea to keep the device safe from the sun while you are in the pool or on the beach, not leave it in a car parked on a hot day or avoid leaving it on radiators or sources of heat during the winter months.
If your smartphone has protection systems that warn you when the temperature is excessive but, even so, it is not advisable to give it to the sun for hours and hours as it could shorten its life and affect its appearance.
3. Beware of pockets
The following advice may seem so obvious that many users do not even think about it: having a pocket exclusively for your smartphone , keeping it away from wallets with cards that can be demagnetized and, above all, without keys or coins that can damage the screen or the casing of your mobile. This is undoubtedly the most common of these 5 things that you do wrong on your android phone and you do not know .
While it may seem like a few keys or coins are harmless to your smartphone, small movements when sitting or walking, coupled with the tight space of a pocket can cause small scratches on the surface of the screen or the back cover of your smartphone which loses its original polished finish.
3. Use non-official covers
It is likely that one of the first accessories you buy for your new smartphone is a protective case. It may seem unimportant, but it is not a good idea to use non-official covers .
The official protective covers are made based on the design of the devices and takes into account the needs of the device, while the unofficial covers and accessories only look for a more or less successful fit for the phone.
This is a point of tension that tells that the installation of an unofficial casing can be a determining factor in the breakage of the screen in a fall.
The design and materials used in these cases for your mobile phone can also influence the reduction of transmission of the wireless signals and the decrease of the coverage since these materials can interfere with the internal antennas of the mobile and block the communications of NFC and Bluetooth.
4. Using unofficial cables
It is more than likely that you are already aware that using the first charger you find in the box of the phone provides the quality for the charge on your smartphone , unofficial cables take longer than necessary to fully charge the phone and creates issue in the fast charging function of your smartphone .
A cable of dubious origin can break the internal pins of the mobile phone connector and cause short circuits. If you are not going to use the charger or the original cables of the brand , at least make sure they have the CE mark.
To check this, you should pay attention to the fact that the cable has the CE logo, which stands for European Conformity . But beware that it has a trick! It is very easy to confuse the CE acronyms of European Conformity that indicate that the product complies with the European standards and safety standards, with the acronym CE of China Export , which only indicates its origin, without fulfilling any security requirement in its manufacturing.
The key to differentiate both logos is in the separation distance between the letters. While in the case of European marking a circle could practically be formed with each of them, in Chinese marking the letters are much closer together.
