Sony is expected to introduce some new models before the end of the year. One of them, expected soon, is the Sony Xperia XZ1, a phone that would arrive to be the successor of Sony Xperia XZ. Accompanying it, there is the talk of the possibility of a Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact that has long been the protagonist of rumors and now would have gone through Geekbench, showing more details.
The supposed Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact seems to have gone through Geekbench in the last hours and the data correspond, in addition, with a leak of some days ago of a new phone of Sony in AnTuTu. Everything indicates that the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact will be a reality this year and we already know some of its details.
After its passage by AnTuTu some days ago we knew that Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact arrived with code name Sony G8441. The phone would have a screen with HD resolution and would work with the new operating system of Google, Android O.
Inside, the phone would have a RAM of 4 GB and an internal storage of 32 GB that probably can be extended with microSD card but at the moment nothing is known about it. These memories would accompany a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 eight-core processor with Adreno 540 GPU, according to what we saw after its passage through AnTuTu. Some of these data have also been confirmed after the passage of the mobile by Geekbench, implying that it would be the same phone.
The cameras, according to these leaks, would be eight megapixels for the main, in the back, and eight megapixels also for the front camera for selfies. The battery of the mobile, according to the medium, will be 2,800mAh, more than enough for a phone whose size is expected to be smaller than the rest.
Of the screen of the phone, we know nothing in these two leaks except that will have a resolution of 720p. Previous rumors of the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact talked about that the phone could arrive with a screen of 4.6 inches, something smaller than other models recently presented by the mark and of the same range as the Xperia XA1, for example.
We will have to wait a little longer to know more details of the telephone that could arrive before the end of the year and to be presented during the IFA in Berlin, to be held in early September.
