Soon it faces just three years after the premiere of the first (and so far only) smartphone Amazon – Fire Phone. And although the device offered many innovative solutions, it does not become a bestseller, making the world pretty quickly forgot about it. Amazon, however, did not give up, and (supposedly) are preparing another proposal. Unfortunately, the currently available information on it do not sound promising – promises to be another fact, “mainstream” for the average phone, requiring little user.
As reported by the source service, which supposedly got a tip from two reliable informants, smartphone bears the code Ice and will be equipped with a screen size ranging from 5.2 to 5.5 inches. Resolution not specified, although personally I would expect HD, or 1280 × 720 pixels (which would translate to turn on 282-267ppi – depending on the size of the display).
Smartphone drive has octa (8 x ARM Cortex-A53; 28nm) processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 1.4 GHz with Adreno 505 graphics chip while the user is available to get 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory (expandable probably with the help of microSD card ) and 13 megapixels main camera and the fingerprint reader, placed on the back.
The device has a working operating system Fire OS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Interestingly, the producer apparently does not intend to pre-install its virtual assistant, Alexa. At least not at first. Source does not exclude the fact that it will appear later, after the market launch, due to some renovation. On the “board” of this model have a while to find all the Google apps and services.
The smartphone is expected to be available until the end of 2017 – at least in India. There is, however, expected that the device will also appear in Europe – Amazon “aim” is in the emerging markets. Evidence of this is also alleged that the equipment will cost (the equivalent of) ~ 6002.96 Indian Rupee.
