Months ago that the Alcatel Idol 5 is seen in benchmarks and other websites showing their specifications and possible design. The phone should have been launched already but we are still waiting for it. It seems that the cell phone has not been canceled but it continues its course and has just been certified by the FCC, showing some images.
The Alcatel Idol 5 has gone through the FCC and has let see its design. A phone with a front without any noticeable novelty. Quite wide side bevels and also upper and lower bevels. It has no physical button on the front of the phone and arrives, apar-Ene Tene, with an aluminum housing.
Unlike the Alcatel Idol 5S, this phone would not arrive with a glass body and the front speakers are on the top and bottom of the mobile. It also changes its model number, which is the 6058 and in the Alcatel Idol 5S was the 6060.
At the back of the phone, you can see the camera (single, single sensor) in the upper left corner of the phone and a fingerprint sensor in the center of the phone. Under the sensor, the “Idol” logo and at the bottom the logo of the brand, Alcatel.
Alcatel Idol 5, Specifications
The Alcatel Idol 5 is expected to arrive with a Full HD display of 5.2 inches. Inside, the phone would arrive with a MediaTek processor that according to previous rumors would be an Helio P20. The chip would have 3 GB of RAM and, according to previous leaks, 32 GB of storage although we do not know whether with the possibility of expansion or without it. It would run on a 2,710 mAh battery and run Android Nougat as an operating system output (it could even be Android 7.1.1).
As for their cameras, we only know that the main camera would be twelve megapixels, with a single sensor. The front camera, for selfies, would work with an 8-megapixel sensor for autofocus.
The phone has received FCC certification but at the moment it is not known to which countries will arrive, nor what its price will be, nor when its launch date is anticipated. We will have to wait for something more to officially know all the details of the mobile phone, its features, and its confirmed design, beyond the photographs we have now access.
