You can use the Status feature in WhatsApp to publish pictures, videos, and GIFs to all your contacts so that they can make a picture of your day or your mood. As with Snapchat and Instagram, same follows here,the WhatsApp status entries are automatically deleted after 24 hours – so your friends always get a daily overview. According to press release, the function is already in the distribution. However, we could not find them on the iPhone or Android smartphone. Whatsapp Coloured Text Status Update-To create a text-based status message, first open the “Status” option bar and then tap the pencil icon in the lower right corner.

You can now start writing a status message directly.

The three icons are marked with the arrows to open the Emoji menu, adjust the font style, or change the background color.

If you are satisfied with your design, tap the green arrow icon to send the status to your contacts.

You can change the “Privacy settings” before you send them,and then make appropriate adjustments,by making the status accessible only to specific contacts.

Confirm that with a tap on “Send”.

In WhatsApp, tap the “Status” tab.

Tap “My Status” to create your own status. If you want to view the status of your friends, simply tap the desired status.

You can now take a photo or video as usual. Alternatively, you can select an image or GIF from your gallery by clicking on the symbol in the lower left corner. IOS users also have the option to search for GIFs on the Internet – the search can be reached by clicking on “(magnifying glass) GIF”.

Finally you can edit the photo, video or GIF with the usual tools. You can add a description, emoji, text, or drawing. In addition, you have the option to crop the photo, video or GIF. Finally, press the blue arrow at the bottom right to send the status.

Switch to the “Status” tab and tap “Privacy” in the upper left corner.

Now select who can see your status. You can share this with all contacts or specific contacts.You also have the possibility to exclude individual contacts.

Tap the menu icon in the upper right and then select the “Settings” option.

Tap “Account” and select “Privacy”.

Now set the “Status” tab to see who can see it.You can optionally share the status with all contacts or specific contacts.You also have the possibility to exclude individual contacts.
